Prepares meeting spaces for daily events, which may include planning, set-up, and take down as needed. May be responsible for unloading equipment or supplies. Responsibilities Sweeps, cleans, mops, scrubs, and dusts floors.
Cleans toilets and basins, and scrubs walls; dusts, cleans, and vacuums furniture, fixtures doors, and related furnishings using appropriate cleaning supplies.
Operates and maintains electric floor machines, industrial vacuums, carpet shampooing equipment, and upholstery/shampooing equipment.
Cleans, refinishes, and maintains a variety of floor coverings.
Transports custodial supplies and equipment to and from storage and work areas.
Transports trash and refuse, removes empty boxes, and organizes closets.
Helps with event setups and teardowns by placing chairs, tables, and other equipment throughout the Union Building.
Other duties as assigned.
