Contract Role: 3 plus months
Salary Range: $22.00 – $25.00/hour
About the Role We are seeking a proactive and empathetic Student Affairs Coordinator to join our academic team and support the holistic development of students. This role is central to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and engaging campus environment. You’ll work closely with students, faculty, and staff to coordinate events, manage student records, and ensure student needs are met both inside and outside the classroom. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and implement student engagement programs and events Advise and support student organizations and leadership initiatives Manage student conduct and disciplinary processes Organize orientation and transition programs for new students Maintain and update student records and status changes Respond to student concerns and direct inquiries to appropriate departments Support wellness, diversity, and inclusion initiatives Assist in crisis response and emergency support Proofread and edit correspondence and program materials Periodically review and update student affairs procedures Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, or related field (Master’s preferred) 2+ years of experience in student affairs or higher education Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience in event planning and program coordination Ability to work with diverse student populations Knowledge of student development theory and best practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student information systems Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and empathy
