About the Role Join our team as a Seasonal Retail Sales Assistant, where your exceptional customer service skills will shine! In this position, you will provide outstanding service at the point of sale and ensure our customers have a fantastic shopping experience. What You'll Do: Welcome customers with a friendly smile, assist them with product queries, and enhance their shopping experience. Efficiently operate the cash register, accurately scan items, bag merchandise, and process various payment methods with ease. Consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals, such as credit and loyalty program sign-ups. Support inventory accuracy through diligent adherence to point of sale and merchandising practices. Help train new team members on best practices and proper register procedures while upholding Kohl's standards. Engage in daily service operations, including register cash balancing and supply replenishment. All associates are expected to: Act with integrity and honesty, promoting teamwork within an inclusive culture. Apply good judgment when making decisions and collaborate with supervisors when necessary. Demonstrate a proactive customer service mindset, anticipating customer needs and resolving issues effectively. Manage multiple tasks efficiently within established deadlines. What Skills You Have: Strong customer service skills with the ability to multitask and pay close attention to details. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. No prior retail experience required; we welcome all applicants! Must be at least 16 years old. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred.
