Remote Recreational Therapist Enhancing Student Wellness in Silver City, NM Location : Silver City, NM (Remote) Position Type : Full-Time or Part-Time (K-12) About VocoVision : VocoVision is seeking a compassionate Recreational Therapist to provide remote support for K-12 students in Silver City, New Mexico. In this role, you will help students improve social, emotional, and physical skills through structured recreational activitiesall delivered virtually. What Youll Be Doing : Plan and deliver virtual recreational therapy sessions tailored to students individual needs. Use activities to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to enhance student engagement. Track student progress and adjust strategies as necessary. Participate in virtual IEP meetings to provide insights and recommendations. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with New Mexico educational standards. Requirements : Masters degree preferred in Recreational Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or related field. Certification or licensure as a Recreational Therapist (NCTRC preferred). Experience providing therapy in educational or youth settings (virtual experience a plus). Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
