The Receptionist provides high-level front desk support to BYU-Pathway Worldwide, interacting with university leadership, church officers, executives, and students. This role demands a high degree of customer service, professionalism, and discretion, in handling confidential and sensitive information. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who shows initiative and takes pride in their work, capable of managing the fast-paced and dynamic environment of our office. Important: The position is a part-time student employee position. You must be enrolled as a CES Student and living in Utah to apply. It requires fluency in English both in writing and conversation. It is located at the Triad Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The incumbent will be expected to work 20 hours per week on-site during core business hours which are Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm. Front Desk Support: Maintain a professional public image for BYU-Pathway Worldwide, welcoming high-profile guests and visitors to the Executive Office. Administrative Duties: Perform routine office tasks such as typing, filing, ordering supplies, entering data, drafting correspondence, running errands, and scheduling rooms and appointments. Communication: Draft high-profile and professional correspondence and communication. Special Projects: Complete special projects including research, data analysis, gathering information for presentations, relaying assignments, and report editing and writing. Phone Management: Receive, screen, and place phone calls for the Executive Office.
Education: Must be a current student at a CES Institution.BYU-Pathway Worldwide (On-line)BYU Provo (On-line or may be On Campus if you're willing to commute to our office in Salt Lake City)BYU-Idaho (On-line)Ensign College (On-line or On Campus.  We are also able to hire international students on an F-1 or J-1 Visa, Ensign College ONLY due to shared campus ). Work Experience: Previous office experience preferred. Professionalism: Highly professional with mature judgment and demeanor, capable of complete discretion and confidentiality. Demonstrated Skills and Abilities: Exceptional organizational, writing, grammar, and editing skills with highest proficiency in written and verbal communication. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Attributes: Flexible, adaptable to change, and highly detail-oriented. Excellent time management and proactive in prioritizing competing tasks, demands, and responsibilities. Sound judgment in decision-making. Worthiness Qualification: Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
