As a Dog Walker, you will be picking up dogs from their homes, getting them ready, and taking them for a walk for a designated amount of time. You will be responsible for keeping the dog safe during your walk, cleaning up after them, and ensuring they are having a great time while being safe. For those that just want their furry friend to have the opportunity to go outside and be played with or loved on, you will provide care in the home. You might also be needed to help care for cats, fish, birds, or reptiles. The ideal candidate has experience working with pets of many sizes and breeds, can work outside in a variety of temperatures and seasons, and has excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities Greet dogs, get them ready, and ensure they are properly dressed (harness, collar, etc) and safely secured Walk dogs for the designated time Clean up after any pets in your care Use common sense and best dog walking practices to ensure dogs are safe and healthy while in your care Qualifications Experience working with dogs of multiple breeds and sizes desired Excellent communication and customer service skills The ability to walk several miles each day in a variety of weather conditions Basic knowledge of dog safety, collars, and leashes
