Part-Time Administrative Assistant for Student Support Services (SSS)

Primary Functions:
This position reports directly to the Program Director, Student Support Services (SSS)/TRIO Grant. This position will maintain accounting for the divisional office, personnel files, day to day operation of the office, general website updates, procedural manual updates, and other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:
· Associate's degree or equivalent required
· 2 years secretarial or administrative assistant experience, database, and customer service experience required; basic bookkeeping and organizational skills preferred.
· Intermediate level experience with MS Office Suite
· Experience working in higher education preferred
· Professional and/or personal experience in overcoming barriers similar to those facing project participants is preferred Job Specific Competencies:

· Answer basic student questions and concerns related to the program
· Maintain calendar for Program Director and other functions supporting SSS/TRIO
· Daily management of office
· Data entry and run reports
· Manage office communications
