Individuals in this role: Perform sample processing of all sample types Set up of inpatient and outpatient orders with minimal error rate. Ordering/receiving samples in soft for processing and the DEM (ER) desk Soarian registration of patients for shell visits Run blood gasses Load the analyzers and the automation line Tube track samples Assist with misc. lab tasks (cleaning, filing, unboxing and processing shipments) Accessioning Aliquoting Answering phones Please note: Responsibilities vary by lab and shift worked

Qualifications: High School Equivalent / GED Must be enrolled in good standing in the a Medical Laboratory Technician Program Previous laboratory related experience preferred
