The Graduate Research Assistant will support the daily u operations and content management of the CHAMPS Networks social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and X. Responsibilities include planning, creating, scheduling, and posting content for various social media initiatives. The Graduate Research Assistant will work with our Communications team and will directly report to the Associate Director of Communications.
GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANT FOCUS AREA
Content
Creation and
Social Media Management
Collaborate with the Assoc. Dir of Communications to develop monthly social media strategies
Create engaging, and brand-appropriate written and visual content for the CHAMPS social media platforms
Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all social media posts, including language and imagery. Help create content as dictated by the monthly editorial calendar to promote CHAMPS Impact, programs and interventions.
Research
Planning and Campaign Execution
Interact with followers by communicating and answering questions through the CHAMPS social media platforms
Assist in implementing plans to increase followers on popular social media platforms such as X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn
Assist in drafting and developing concept notes for social media campaigns and appropriate social media CHAMPS event coverage

Education and Background
Academic background/experience in communication, writing, international development or a related discipline
