We are working with a Texas mid-sized firm to hire an experienced mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private equity (PE) attorney for their Houston, Austin, or Dallas offices.

About the firm: Mid-sized Texas based firm. The firm offers robust resources, strong compensation, and solid support. Chambers-ranked in multiple practice areas.

About the position: Focus on M&A and PE. Hiring as a succession plan because partners will retire in upcoming years. No book required. Open to hiring a service partner or someone who wants to build their own book of business.

About you: 10 or more years of M&A and PE experience. Can handle M&A and PE deals independently. Wants to service existing business or use firm's resources and support to develop and build own book of business.

Compensation ranges from $250,000-350,000.
